Uhuru Kenyatta Accused of Supporting Mungiki Resurgence
Deputy President Gachagua has accused former President Uhuru Kenyatta of supporting the resurgence of the outlawed Mungiki group, warning that security agencies would take firm action against the illegal sect. Without elaboration, Gachagua claimed that Kenyatta was putting young men in harm's way and setting up Mungiki youth against the ruling Kenya Kwanza government. Interior CS Kithure Kindiki declared that the government was prepared to combat the dangerous and outlawed group.
