"Lia come on wake up...ull b late for school"

My dad said seating close to me his hands on mine and his eyes shining brightly...my dad had never come toy room to wake me up like in 8 years he had the most weird look ever it was so funny

"Dad what do u want from me? Spill the bean already uve been acting all weird since yesterday and beginning to freak out_

"Alright u caught me...it's about the lady you saw me with yesterday"

"So what about her"

"U know it's been 13 years since I lost ur mum .I think it's time I move on..maybe we should all move one..this is what ur mum would have wanted"

Is he for real right now?? As in he wants to remarry? didn't my mum mean anything to him? There's no way am letting anyone take my mum's place

"Dad am gonna be late for school I've got to go" I said moving out from the room leaving my dad there with his thoughts..I know get deserves to be happy but I just couldn't stand the fact that someone else was taking my mum's place..I washed up and took my lunch box..I was danm late ND the freaking school bus has already taken off so I had to take a cab

"Lia let me drop u off at school"

"Don't worry dad..I'll just take a cab"

"Lia"

"Dad am fine" I said in an angry tone and my dad was sad I could feel it

"Are u free later??"

" No..Ali and I are going for shopping

"Alright u can go"

"Have a nice day hon"

"Alright I will" she said and disappeared I went back upstairs to my room and took out a little picture of Lia when she was little I know I know this is all my fault the reason why she is so distant an angry..ive never given her my attention even when she needs it..I've been focusing on work more than family..I've restricted her for too long I think it's time for her to be free and tommorow is her 18 birthday I guess I should surprise her..it will be my little present for her...

I walked through the hallway...it was empty obviously because everyone had gone to class now and I couldn't contact Ali or Brad ...phones were not allowed in the lecture room..I went to the cafeteria and sat down on an empty chair...
