The recipe for Bowtie bread.

BOWTIE BREAD

Recipes

200 grams flour

10 grams margarine

Pinch of Salt 

5 grms yeast

Warm milk ¼ltr

 

PROCEDURE:

1. Sieve the flour into a bowl 

2. Dissolve yeast in warm milk

3. Make a well in the center of the flour and add dissolved yeast

4. Add the fat ,salt and the remaining milk 

5. Knead firmly until soft and free from stickiness

6. Return to the basin , cover with a cloth and leave to proof 

7. Knock back

8. Divide into equal sizes and mould into bowtie shapes

9. Place on dusted baking sheet and cover with a cloth

10. Leave to prove for 15 min

11. Brush carefully with eggwash 

12. Bake in hot oven ( 230⁴c - 250⁴c)
