Public Sector Unions Oppose Finance Bill 2023
The KENYA Medical Practioners, Pharmacists and Dentists' UNION (KMPDU) joined other public sector service unions in protesting against the proposed Finance Bill 2023. KMPDU leader Davji Bhimji expressed concerns that the proposed housing levy and tax increases would unfairly burden their members. Bhimji emphasized the importance of bringing all stakeholders together for constructive negotiations to find sustainable solutions.
