GIDEON MOI , SOSSION , DAVID SANKOK IN CLOSE FIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING POWERFUL JOBS AFTER ELECTION LOSS

GIDEON MOI , SOSSION , DAVID SANKOK IN CLOSE FIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING POWERFUL JOBS AFTER ELECTION LOSS

Kenya african national union (KANU) Chairperson and party leader Gideon Moi recently tested electoral defeat after he was humiliated at the ballot by a united democratic alliance (UDA) candidate in the Baringo senatorial seat, a situation that threatens to dump him into political oblivion.

The case was the same for former nominated member of the national assembly Hon Wilson Sossion who was angling for the Bomet county senatorial seat in the last general election only to be defeated during the UDA party nominations.

Unlike the aforementioned two, former nominated member of the national assembly Hon David Ole Sankok chose not to contest, instead claiming that he would concentrate on his businesses.

However, as The Star reports, all the three men have submitted their applications for nomination into powerful positions in the legislature. The three have tendered in their applications for the open vacancies in the east African legislative assembly (EALA) based in Arusha.

Their names will be vetted and if successful, submitted to the national assembly for voting to take place. They face stiff competition with Moi facing competition from his secretary general Nick Salat.
