DPP Haji Faces Opposition Over Nomination
Critism has been directed as the nomination of Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji to assume the role of Director-General at the National Intelligence Service (NIS). The position was previously held by Major-General (Rtd) Phillip Wachira Kameru, who served as head of the spy agency since 2014. The National Integrity Alliance, a coalition focused on promoting integrity and fighting corruption, has expressed its opposition to Haji's appointment.
