KBC journalist Bonnie Musambi and his wife Betty during her

In 2020 Musamb i bought his wife an iPhone and gifted her

KSh 1,000,000. The veteran journalist trended for days,

leaving women praising him.

Fast forward to 2021, Musambi's wife turned 32 years old on

July 10, and as usual, the flashy man set the bar high for his

counterparts.

The soft-spoken radio presenter planned a surprise party for

his better half at Radisson Blu Residence, Nairobi

Arboretum, on the evening of Saturday.

The event was attended by a few family members and close

friends, and Musambi hired songstress Sanaipei Tande to

serenade the mother of his two kids on her special day.

State house spokesperson Kanze Dena , Kenya's ambassador

to Uganda Kiema Kilonzo, and several journalists were among

the guests.

It was a black and gold themed event organised by Charyl of

Che Dreamakers Events. The decor comprised of black, white,

and gold colours.

Excited mother of two Betty Musambi at her birthday party.

Addressing guests at the exclusive only party, Musambi

showered his wife with love before giving her a KSh 1 million

cheque. He also revealed that he had ordered a Mercedes-

Benz E250 worth KSh 4.5 million for her.

"I love her so much. Sijuangi ni nini naweza mnunulia ya

birthday so nimechanganyikiwa (I get confused about what

to buy her on her birthday). I ordered something for her but

unfortunately numeambiwa inafika (it will arrive by) the

end of August. So I ordered something small, a Mercedes-

Benz E250, and untill that car comes, let her enjoy herself

with a cheque of KSh 1 million," he said.

The couple, who had dressed in gold t-shirts and pitch-black

trousers, shared a cute dance with their beautiful daughters

who were wearing black tops and jeans trousers as Sanaipei

performed her Chaguo La Moyo song.

Musambi's t-shirt had "Happy birthday my love writing on the

front while his wife's was written, "It's my birthday".

On July 10, 2020, Bonnie Musambi surprised his wife with a

KSh 1 million cheque and iPhone worth KSh 150,000 on her

31st birthday.

presenter's wife Betty Mutua said she was delighted by the

gifts and the surprise, which she said were unexpected but

was worth it.

"It was a birthday surprise organised by Bonnie and our

friends. Although Bonnie had assured me there was never

going to be one as we were set to go out for dinner, the

party was done in the house. However, when I went to

change and came out, I found people in the house who had

come for the birthday surprise. The birthday gift from

Bonnie was iPhone 11 Pro worth KSh 150,000 and a 1

million cheque," she said.
