A Big Blow Blow to Azimio as Alfred Mutua Joins Kenya Kwanza


Maendeleo Chap Chap leader Dr. Alfred Mutua on Sunday, May 8, signed an agreement to join William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Speaking on Monday, Mutua said Dr. Ruto was a good leader capable of improving the lives of Kenyans once he clinches the top seat. Mutua accused the Raila Odinga led Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance of blackmailing the considered small parties.
In his speech, the Machakos boss retracted his earlier remarks towards the DP, now saying he was a good leader capable of improving the lives of Kenyans once he clinches the top seat.
Azimio was blackmailing us Speaking on why he had resolved to break ties with Azimio, Mutua accused the Raila led outfit of blackmailing the considered small parties. He claimed that the smaller Azimio constituent political parties had been sidelined in the making of key decisions in the outfit, programing and even access to funds. The second term governor also lamented that he had been denied access to the agreement that established the Azimio coalition. This is contrary to the one he signed with Kenya Kwanza on the evening of Sunday, May 8, which is already at his disposal.
Mutua said that their agreement with Kenya Kwanza is very open and has no zoning currently witnessed in Azimio. “I already have an agreement copy unlike that for Azimio. I will transverse Kenya campaigning for William Ruto as I believe he is the best president to take Kenya forward,” he added.
