4 things should you know about your website

Whether you have an existing website or you want to acquire one, there are some key things you need to know about your website, and of course, it should have. A website is a platform that will mirror your business to an online presence.  More than 60% of the world's population have access to the internet.  This has been increased by the provision of cheap 4G devices and cheap internet data packages from ISPs. 

 

Nowadays a website is a very essential platform for every business since most consumers enquire about what they need from the internet.  Others go to the extend of buying it from your online store and delivery is done to the comfort of their place. With this information your website should possess the following:

  1. Responsive. When we say responsive, it means that the website should be easily accessed from any device from mobile phone to big screens. Let us talk about the mobile phone.  Out of the 60% of the world population who are online 55% of it is using the mobile phone to access the internet. 
  2. SEO Optimized. A website without SEO is like a car without fuel. Your website should be submitted to Search Engines such as Google, Bing, etc. This let the Search Engine know what your business entails. Let's say you deal with computers. When a prospect goes to Google or Bing and types computers on the search bar, The search Engine will display the results of the query. This "Computers" will be the keyword. Every website that has been optimized using that keyword, will be displayed on search results. There are many SEO tools such as SemRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc
  3. Google Analytics. The same as WhatsApp status, you will know who viewed your status. A website is connected to Google analytic to measure the performance. With Google Analytics, you will know how many people accessed your website and the traffic is gaining. It helps you determine KPIs and ROI.
  4. ChatBox. Your website should a chatbox where users are able to communicate with you directly from the website. An example of a chatbox is WhatsApp. It is easy for them to write a message from the website and receive it directly to your WhatsApp on your phone. There are many chatboxes in the market you can choose from.
