Ugenya MP-Elect David Ochieng decamps, joins Kenya Kwanza

Ugenya MP David Ochieng has withdrawn his support for Raila Odinga's Azimio movement in favour of William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza.

The Movement for Democracy and Growth Party leader stated that they have found friendship in Ruto’s alliance.

The President-Elect received Ochieng at the Deputy President’s Official Residence in Karen.

Former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, former Kisumu Town West MP Olago Oluoch, and former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma accompanied Ochieng in denouncing the MDG party’s support for Odinga.

"We have concluded the agreement this morning that now makes the MDG party part of the Kenya Kwanza alliance," Ruto said in a press conference.

The President-elect said MDG's move to join the alliance is part of the grand plan to bring together the whole country and get rid of politics of ethnicity.
