Tai Sacco Society Ltd, formerly Kiambu Tea Growers Sacco Limited, is a leading Deposit taking Savings and Credit Society.

This year, Tai Sacco celebrates 30 years of existence and growth. The 8-branch Sacco has grown to have an Asset Base of Ksh.3.58B, Total Deposits of Ksh. 2.44B and Total Loans of Ksh. 2.58B (as per 2021 SASRA Financials Report).

The humble beginning of the 72 tea farmers has thrived to achieve over 80,000 members; They believed that by joining forces and forming a co-operative society, they would be able to take advantage of the collective strength that comes with having many people working together toward a common goal. They have far more now clearly scaled and are no longer serving tea farmers only; after opening the common bond in the year 2009 and rebranded to Tai Sacco Society Limited, their wings have spread all over the country and in the diaspora.

The society provides financial services to individuals, business enterprises and other organizations in the region through its branches (8) some of which are located within the Nairobi metropolitan area.
