President-elect William Ruto is congratulated by Israeli President Herzog

Israel's ambassador to Kenya, Michael Lotem, personally delivered Dr. Ruto the message from President Herzog at his Karen residence in Nairobi.

Ruto was congratulated by Russia on Thursday, and the country expressed interest in "building extensive and mutually beneficial relations with Kenya."

William Ruto, the incoming president of Kenya, has received congratulations from Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

At his Karen residence in Nairobi, Dr. Ruto received the letter from President Herzog personally via Israel's envoy to Kenya, Michael Lotem.

Dr. Ruto responded to the tweet on Monday in the afternoon, writing, "Received congrats message from President of Israel Isaac Herzog that was handed by ambassador Michael Lotem, Karen, Nairobi. be revitalized and further strengthened," said the Russian Embassy in Kenya in a statement.

Ambassadors and High Commissioners from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom urged all political parties and leaders to uphold the law when seeking justice on Wednesday in a joint statement.

The envoys applauded Kenyans for maintaining peace before, during, and after the elections while noting how peacefully they were handled.

The ambassadors and high commissioners also praised the IEBC's efforts to organize the elections as well as the contributions made by security personnel, members of civil society, leaders in the business community, and representatives of religions.

The Supreme Court is scheduled to render a decision on the legality of upcoming two weeks will see the election of Ruto.

This came about after Odinga filed a petition contesting the results, alleging electoral fraud and IEBC violations of the law.
