Preparations at National Treasury
Preparations are going on at the National Treasury ahead of the reading of the 2023 - 2023 budget statement.
Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung’u last Friday said that the budget statement will be read at 3 pm.
It was a hive of activities as staff put in their best to ensure the publicity of the day through fixing and branding the national logo.
President William Ruto’s first budget comes to the national assembly against the public disquiet over high inflation and backdrop of massive public debt.
The Sh3.663 trillion plan sets out priority areas of an administration that campaigned on the platform of empowering the informal sector.
