Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka Set to Rejoin Azimio La Umoja
The Wiper party leader is set to make his announcement today 2 June 2022, a month after discarding Raila's Azimio La Umoja.
Kalonzo parted ways with the ODM leader Raila Odinga led coalition after it settled on Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua as its presidential running mate, a position he was also eyeing.
He then declared that he would be vying for the presidency in the August 9 General Election, disclosing Andrew Sunkuli as his running mate.
“I shall declare my stand on the presidency. This time round I shall make the final decision. I shall not spare anything. It will be a scorched earth policy so that we must save this nation,” said Kalonzo when he sent Raila's condolences at a funeral in Machakos County.
The Wiper chairperson is expected to make the announcement at an Azimio presidential rally today at Vision Grounds, Mukuru Kwa Njenga in Nairobi.
